The new Grail

Its inspiring handling and compliant chassis will have you pinning it over rough stuff, while the lightweight aero frame lets you push the pace uphill and down. Factor in the integrated storage and you have a bike born for long rides and all-terrain speed.

It doesn’t matter if you’re in a 200-mile race or training on old dirt roads, if you want to ride fast and hold speed you need a bike that’s aerodynamic.

That’s why the Grail uses newly developed tube shapes, an updated seatpost and integrated storage and cables to create a complete aerodynamic system that saves serious watts in the wind tunnel. Now go ride someone off your wheel.

From years of wind tunnel testing, we know that frame storage can make a bike more aero. So, we developed the Aero LOAD system out of a mix of internal storage and custom frame bags for an a la carte setup where riders can choose how much kit to carry or how aero to make the frame.

The LOAD FidLock QuickLoader bag was made just for the Grail and can be instantly attached and removed using a special clip system. It blends seamlessly with the frame and even improves aerodynamics.

After hours riding full tilt on chunky roads, it doesn’t matter how nice your bike is if the contact points aren’t on point. The Grail’s new Double Drop Bar takes everything we learned from the Generation 1 Double Decker Bar and incorporates it into a lightweight, aerodynamic package with the clever and functional Gear Groove mounting point for all CFR and CF SLX models.

Based on feedback from our pro riders we landed on 40 mm tyres as the best balance of good grip and fast rolling resistance for a gravel race bike. The frame clears 42 mm tyres and leaves space for 52/36 front chainrings so racers can go all out.
