Information on the use of roller trainers and direct-drive trainers
The Canyon models
, , , , , and are generally approved for use with an .
The following conditions must also be observed:

The release is only valid for bikes without electronic drive assistance - all e-bike models are excluded from the release.

Before the first installation it is mandatory to check and ensure the compatibility between bike and trainer.

When mounting the bike on the trainer, the respective instructions and the assembly instructions of the trainer manufacturer must be observed and followed strictly.

For Canyon bikes with thru axle only the use of Direct Drive trainers is permitted.

The bike frame may only be mounted on the trainer at the mounting points for the wheel hub. (See illustration)

There must there be no contact between the trainer and the bike frame (or other parts of the bike intended for operation) outside the mounting points of the wheel hub during operation (e.g. pedaling) nor while the bike is stationary

Before use, it is essential to check carefully that there is no contact at the intended mounting points. We recommend the assistance of a second person to check that there is no contact (even when the bike is in weighing mode).
According to our current state of knowledge the following combinations of bike and roller trainer or Direct Drive Trainer are NOT compatible. This list is for information purposes only and we make no claim its extensiveness. Even if your preferred trainer is not included in the list below, please check compatibility as described above, as we do not check every possible bike/trainer combination.
