What’s so special about a gravel bike with disc brakes?

Gravel bikes are the ultimate all-rounders in terms of unlimited riding fun. They’re built for efficient progress over gravel, forest paths and asphalt. Thanks to the geometry of the frame and wide tyres, a gravel bike absorbs all the lumps and bumps so you can continue having a great time.

Hydraulic disc brakes further add to a gravel bike’s CV. In wind and during poor weather, a disc brake setup promises a lot of flexibility and security. Gravel bikes are made for long adventures yet they’re still comfortable to ride. When it comes to speed and braking, you needn’t compromise.

Rim or disc brakes on a gravel bike?

Rim brakes have dominated cycling for decades. However, the braking efficiency decreases in wet weather and on loose surfaces.

A gravel bike with hydraulic disc brakes have a greater braking efficiency than rim brakes.
