Probably the lightest full-suspension frame in the world
Sturdy, stiff, superlight. At an astonishing 1,535 grams, the Lux World Cup CFR frame might be the lightest full-suspension MTB frame on the planet today, shedding a huge 127 g over its ultralight predecessor. And we actually boosted the frame’s stiffness despite the massive weight loss, all while still meeting our punishing Category 3 testing standards.
Unrivalled climbing efficiency
The latest-gen Lux World Cup further improves on the core kinematics and anti-squat values that made its predecessor a World Cup-winning, climb-devouring racing machine. Combined with the frame’s extremely low weight, tweaks to the shock position, rocker link, anti-squat and general kinematics have resulted in our most efficient and fastest-climbing mountain bike ever. Simply put – this bike flies.
Even more capable
What goes up must come down. The Lux World Cup not only gets you to the top of the climb first – now more capable and confident on the downs, it also gets you to the bottom of the mountain even faster, even on technical modern XC tracks. All thanks to a new overhauled progressive geometry, with a 15 mm longer reach, slack 68.5° head angle, and shorter stems than its predecessor.
CeramicSpeed: the world’s best bearings
In the relentless pursuit of perfect performance, only the finest components we can source make it onto the Lux World Cup CFR. That’s why we spec premium, super long-life CeramicSpeed bearings at all pivot points as well as in the headset. They aren’t just lighter, they’re also super-smooth and are especially resistant to corrosion and rust.
Sleek design, clean integration
The Lux World Cup packs a variety of smart features that deliver real benefits out on the trail. Examples? Dropped chains suck, so we fitted an ultralight 3.6 g chain guide. Likewise, our integrated Impact Protection Unit prevents the handlebars from over-rotating and crushing the bike’s top tube during a crash. Finally, the integrated Quixle has the stiffness of a rear thru-axle and convenience of tool-free rear wheel removal.
Dropper post as standard
Descend confident, descend fast. When things get steep and techy, there’s only one thing to do: push the handlebar-mounted button and drop the saddle down. This dropper post goes down fast and gives you more room to get low, and maneuverer your body weight so you can pick your line with precision and rip the descents all-out.

Bike classification
This category also covers the requirements of categories 1-2. In addition it includes use on harsher, unpaved terrain. The scope for these bikes includes occasional jumps up to a maximum height of 60 cm. Jumps of this scale can cause inexperienced riders to have accidents on landing, which can result in injury. Hardtail mountain bikes and full-suspension bikes with short travel are included in this category.
