Sturdy, stiff, superlight
At a highly competitive 1,925 grams, the Lux World Cup CF frame is one of the lightest full-suspension MTB frames in its class, beating many of the lightest full-suspension frames around in the weight stakes. And we actually boosted the frame’s stiffness despite its lightweight credentials, all while still meeting our punishing Category 3 testing standards.
Unrivalled climbing efficiency
The latest-gen Lux World Cup further improves on the core kinematics and anti-squat values that made its predecessor a World Cup-winning, climb-devouring racing machine. Combined with the frame’s extremely low weight, tweaks to the shock position, rocker link, anti-squat and general kinematics have resulted in our most efficient and fastest-climbing mountain bike ever. Simply put – this bike flies.
Even more capable
What goes up must come down. The Lux World Cup not only gets you to the top of the climb first – now more capable and confident on the downs, it also gets you to the bottom of the mountain even faster, even on technical modern XC tracks. All thanks to a new overhauled progressive geometry, with a 15 mm longer reach, slack 68.5° head angle, and shorter stems than its predecessor.
Sleek design, clean integration
The sleek design of the Lux World Cup doesn’t just look great, it also has real performance benefits. The single edge flowing from the headtube along the top tube through the rear triangle visually expresses its racing focus, the reduced edges and optimised head and downtube cross-sections boost the frame’s stiffness and durability. The internal cable routing looks great, reduces mud buildup and is easy to use, with internal tubes guiding cables through the frame.
Details make the difference
The Lux World Cup packs a variety of smart features that deliver real benefits out on the trail. Examples? Dropped chains suck, so we fitted an ultralight 3.6 g chain guide. Likewise, our integrated Impact Protection Unit prevents the handlebars from over-rotating and crushing the bike’s top tube during a crash. Finally, the integrated Quixle has the stiffness of a rear thru-axle and convenience of tool-free rear wheel removal.

Bike classification
This category also covers the requirements of categories 1-2. In addition it includes use on harsher, unpaved terrain. The scope for these bikes includes occasional jumps up to a maximum height of 60 cm. Jumps of this scale can cause inexperienced riders to have accidents on landing, which can result in injury. Hardtail mountain bikes and full-suspension bikes with short travel are included in this category.
