Intuitive handling
The Neuron impresses with its intuitive handling and inspires you to confidently set off for new horizons. It sits quietly on the trail and smoothly insulates you from impacts so you can go with the flow.
Geometry & wheels
Stability and control in technical terrain and on trails, a capable and confidence inspiring geometry for the Neuron on 29er Wheels (M- XL) and smaller wheels for smaller riders (650B on XS and S):66° Head Tube angle, 76° Seat Tube Angle, 455mm Reach (Size M). For more details check out the geometry table.
Triple Phase Suspension
The Neuron AL is equipped with Triple Phase Suspension that ensures optimal control during your ride. The leverage curve features small bump sensitivity at the start for incredible traction. Mid-stroke stability delivers speed and momentum to push through compressions and jump over features. On bigger hits, the suspension ramps up progressively to avoid bottoming out making for an overall smoother and more comfortable ride.
Integrated chainstay protection and chain guide
Thanks to the integrated chain guide, your chain will stay secure while riding tough trails, giving you peace of mind while you focus on the ride. The bike also boasts a chainstay protector that eliminates annoying chain slap noises while protecting the rear triangle. The noise-dampening rubber compound of the chainstay protector reduces unnecessary noise while riding. Both the guide and protectors are adjustable to suit various chainring sizes ranging from 28-34T for greater flexibility depending on your ride style.
Clean and simple internal cable routing
The Neuron CF has been designed with clean and simple internal cable routing, providing a sleek and tidy look. However, it isn't just about aesthetics as pre-installed internal guides make cable installation a breeze. Pushing the cable through the guides makes installation quick and straightforward. The design minimizes any internal bending and protects the cables from debris and mud. Additionally, all entry points have been expertly sealed, providing extra protection from dirt and grime during rides.
Ready to drop
All Neuron bikes come with a dropper post as standard letting you thread the needle on technical trails. In 2023 we shrank the seat tube by 20 mm, allowing you to run longer-travel dropper posts so that all riders can get their saddle low and well out of the way.
Quick-release through axle
With the Quixle through-axle system, the Neuron AL provides riders with the best of both worlds. The Quixle delivers the stiffness and improved handling of a through axle setup while also providing the easy removal and install of a quick release. The handle tucks away neatly for tool-free removal, adding to its versatility and making it an ideal choice for those who prioritize speed and convenience.
Stored and secure
Pack some essential tools or extra snacks for your ride with the Canyon Load Bag that mounts directly to the frame.

Bike classification
This category also covers the requirements of categories 1-2. In addition it includes use on harsher, unpaved terrain. The scope for these bikes includes occasional jumps up to a maximum height of 60 cm. Jumps of this scale can cause inexperienced riders to have accidents on landing, which can result in injury. Hardtail mountain bikes and full-suspension bikes with short travel are included in this category.
