All-mountain attitude

Don't let the shorter travel setup mislead you: the Spectral 125 is more than capable of charging down steep technical trails, thanks to the frame's progressive geometry. For confidence on steep descents and high-speed sections, it features a slack 64-degree headtube angle and a generous reach. A steep 76.5-degree seat tube angle places you in a poised, forward climbing position so you can keep attacking when the trail points uphill.

Durability-boosting smart features

Spend more time in the saddle and less time in the workshop. We designed the Spectral 125 to be as durable and reliable as possible. With fully guided internal routing, there's no need to fumble around inside the frame when it's time to replace cables and lines. Robust double-sealed bearings, featuring Canyon's proprietary grease compound, and replaceable thread inserts at the pivot points all elevate the standard for frame hardware durability.

Geo adjust

The 2-position (LO/HI) Flip Chip shock mount offers 0.5 degrees of adjustment to head tube and seat tube angles, and changes BB height by 8 mm. Bikes come as standard in the LO setting, for increased downhill stability and confidence. Switch to HI for more ground clearance on technical climbs, as well as a direct handling feel.

All mountain altitude

The Spectral 125 is a progressive short-travel 29er. Fun-loving geometry meets 125 mm of perfectly tuned rear travel and a 140 mm fork to create a bike that can handle hard riding in chunkier terrain while staying playful when the trail mellows out.

Crush the climbs

The taut 125 mm of rear suspension travel creates an impressively stable pedalling platform, offering extra efficiency when pushing the pace uphill. Better yet, the frame and build kits are lighter than the standard Spectral making it a bike that climbs like a goat and loves to get airborne.

Bike classification

This category also covers the requirements of categories 1-3. In addition it includes use on very harsh, obstacle-scattered terrain with steep gradients and consequently higher speeds. Regular, moderate jumps pose no problem for experienced riders when using these bikes. Extended and regular use in bike parks and tackling “North Shore” sections should be avoided. Due to increased stresses, these bikes should be checked for damage after every ride. Full suspension bikes with mid-level travel are typical in this category.
