Once you have selected a specific model on our website, you can check the availability of each size and colour, including current estimated delivery dates, by clicking ‘Buy’. Bikes available ‘From stock’ are usually in storage at Canyon.Factory. Before delivering a bike to New Zealand, we need to make some adjustments, including switching the brakes. This will add a few days onto the shipping dates.. If the bike you were looking for is sold out please get in touch with our service centre and one of our experts will be happy to help you find the right alternative. Contact Us

Only 17 kg: this is a super-light e-city bike.

All Canyon bikes are shipped as illustrated and described – selecting alternative component configurations is not currently possible. A quick tip: on bikes with traditional handlebars with non-integrated stems, you can order a stem with a different length when you buy your bike. To change your bike’s fit, just swap out the stem during assembly.

All models use the same mold, which means that all Exceed models share the same core design features and frame shaping. The three different carbon frame platforms (CF, SLX, and CFR) differ, however, in material content and layup.
With the new CFR we went further than ever before on a mountain bike and achieved an incredibly low weight, making it our lightest hardtail frame to date and definitely one of the lightest frames on the market.

The maximum tire size we’d recommend would be a 2.35/2.4 tire mounted to a rim with an internal width of 30mm rim. Tire sizes, of course, vary from one tire manufacturer to another, so we always recommend that riders double check tire clearance immediately after installing their new rear tire.

Yes! The Grail’s all-terrain ability and speed make it a good choice for commuting, especially over longer distances or if you like to mix up the terrain on your commute to avoid busy roads.
Of course, if you have to leave your Grail locked outside when you’re in the office, we suggest getting a robust, sturdy lock for maximum security.

It only takes 5 minutes using our Perfect Positioning System (PPS) tool.
Just enter your key measurements, and we’ll tell you your frame size. The system uses data we’ve collected over many years of online sizing to give you results you can trust.
For complete peace of mind – if you order your bike and it doesn’t feel right, you can return it fuss-free for any reason within 30 days of receipt.

Bikes marked as 'Available from stock' on our website are usually in storage at Canyon.Factory. Before delivering a bike to New Zealand, we need to make some adjustments, including switching the brakes. This will add a few days onto the shipping dates. Once shipped, deliveries take 2-3 weeks.
Please be aware that these bikes are not kept in our showroom in Koblenz, so it’s not possible to buy them on-site.

You can easily do this yourself right up until shortly before your order is shipped, there are two options:
-
I have a MyAccount:
Log in to your MyAccount and click on 'Order history'. There you can change your order directly. -
I do not have a MyAccount:
Without a MyAccount, go to the Canyon order tracking page and enter your order number and email address. Your chosen order will then appear, and you can change it there.

Around 22/23 kg. Thanks to the extra power of the Bosch motor, the bike is still lightning-fast up climbs.

CFR stands for Canyon Factory Racing and it stands for two things: the purpose of the bike - this is the machine that the Canyon Factory riders are racing - and also the caliber of the frame. Canyon CFR frames feature the lightest and best possible carbon construction for a given style of riding - in this case, downhill racing.

We do not plan, at present, to offer the SENDER CFR as a frame-only option

The registration of an e-bike return is particularly important, since the shipment must always be registered as a dangerous good. We instruct our service partner DHL Freight for you, so that your e-bike is picked up directly at your home and arrives safely at our premises.
How does returning e-bikes and batteries work?
In both cases, the return shipment is made via DHL Freight. Once you have registered your return, a DHL Freight representative will contact you by phone or email to arrange a date for collection. Please note that an exact time cannot be arranged. Usually, the pickup can be limited to the morning or afternoon. What do I have to send back?
Please return all products specified for return. If you have only specified the battery, please return only the battery properly. If you have specified the entire e-bike, please return the entire e-bike with all components. Please make sure that you include the key to the e-bike battery with the return.Do I have to pack my e-bike specially?
E-bikes with batteries are a class 9 hazardous material, so you need special packaging. Of course, you can return the e-bike in the original shipping carton, as this complies with the regulations. Please make sure that the battery is installed in the e-bike for shipping.Do I have to specially pack the e-bike battery?
The installed e-bike battery is a class 9 hazardous material, so you need special packaging. You can request this separate e-bike battery box from us. Alternatively, you can return the battery installed in your e-bike in the E-Bike Guard. This not only means less effort for you when packing, but also easier handling when returning the battery. In this case, the battery box is not needed. Should you decide to return the battery in the packaging, we will send you the appropriate packaging together with a new ADR cover letter in advance, which you must attach to the outside of the packaging. This is not necessary if the battery is returned installed on your e-bike.
Please let us know if your E-Bike Guard or battery box is damaged or no longer present. We will gladly send you a replacement. Can I return a defective e-bike battery?
Please note that severely damaged e-bike batteries cannot be returned under any circumstances. How do I notice that my e-bike battery is defective?
There are several ways that you can identify a damaged battery, for example:
– Damaged or significantly deformed housing
– Contact points on metal parts of the battery
– Parts of the plastic housing are melted
– Heating of the battery when switched off
– Battery leakage
– Batteries identified as defective by the battery management system (BMS)How can I dispose of my e-bike battery?
Please dispose of the battery properly if any of the above points apply. As proof we would like to ask you to take a photo of the battery with the serial number. This is located on the underside of the battery. You can usually return your defective battery to local recycling centers. Contact your local battery disposal facilities for further information. Often local hardware stores and e-bike dealers also offer the possibility to accept the batteries and dispose of them properly. Of course, if you’re in Germany, you can also hand in a defective battery personally at our service workshop in Koblenz.

The advantages of carbon compared to e.g. aluminium are as follows:
-
Carbon is significantly lighter with almost the same surface area.
-
By manufacturing the material in layers, certain areas, e.g. of a frame, can be made stronger and thus stiffer. Other areas, however, can be made significantly thinner and even lighter. Thus, a component can be made significantly stiffer in the required areas and sufficiently elastic in others.
-
Compared to aluminium, carbon has a better fatigue strength.
-
Carbon does not rust or corrode.
-
-
-
-
Defects in carbon are usually recognized by cracks, breaks, holes or dents. Before an optical defect becomes apparent, crunching, creaking or popping noises occur. These noises occur when the carbon layers separate and rub against each other. If any of this occurs, caution is advised, and the bike should be taken for inspection and examined.
Replacement of carbon parts is usually only necessary after a real defect, for example due to a fall or incorrect assembly. The life cycle of carbon products is usually longer than most riders keep the product.
-
-
-
A frame or other component made of carbon is generally much stiffer and more resistant to tension than aluminium, for example. If all parts are mounted correctly and without damage, there is little that a carbon frame cannot withstand.
All carbon components are designed for maximum load. After all, even the pros from the racing bike, mountain bike and cyclocross sector ride with our frames of the same design - as anyone can buy in our webshop.
-
-
-
If you take note of the following advice, then you will be able to keep riding your Canyon problem-free for years to come:
-
If you mount carbon parts, or screw parts to a carbon frame, always pay attention to the torques with which the screws must be tightened. You will find the correct torques in the user manual of your Canyon.
-
Carbon parts do not have unlimited durability. Therefore stems and handlebars should be exchanged for new parts at regular intervals. The maximum service life of the components can be found in the respective manufacturers' manuals.
-
Do not use grease when mounting, but only special carbon assembly paste.
-
Clean carbon only with a soft, dry cloth, water or mild soapy water and then seal the surface with hard wax.
-
Make sure that carbon handlebars are approved for mounting parts such as bar ends. Time trial attachments must not be mounted on carbon handlebars unless expressly approved by Canyon.
-
-
-
-
Depending on the type and degree of the defect, carbon parts may well be repairable. In any case, however, our service workshop should be contacted for this. As a hobbyist, nobody should attempt to repair carbon parts themselves.
-
-
-
Except in the event of a fall or due to incorrect installation, no. Before an optical defect becomes apparent, crunching, creaking or popping noises occur. These noises occur when the carbon layers separate and rub against each other. If any of this occurs, caution is advised and the bike should be taken for inspection and examined.

The use of a new manufacturing process and coating system allows Canyon to provide a direct view of the carbon fibers. This way the fiber coating of each frame is visible and each chassis gets a unique finish. Depending on the angle of the incident light, the appearance of this finish can vary. This does not affect the frame or the paint.
Canyon thus shows what the unidirectional carbon fabrics used really look like and takes a completely new path - away from the mainstream and towards a new look characterized by functionality.
-
-
-
Carbon is a so-called fibre composite material and is made of two materials that are combined. One is the carbon fibres and the other is a corresponding epoxy resin as an adhesive. In the combination, this results in a strong and at the same time light material which, in its not yet solid state, can be brought into almost any shape and cured in it. Several carbon layers are superimposed during production.

The 4iiii powermeters Podiiiium, Precision and Precision Pro usually have a distance of 80mm from the centre of the pod to the BB-axis. This distance would lead to bottlenecks and possible consequential damage or malfunctions on most Canyon road bikes. To prevent this, we have developed a custom version: The 4iiii Precision Custom Powermeter, which is already installed on corresponding bikes during production. For our Canyon bikes we need a distance of 120mm instead of 80mm to avoid narrow spots.
The retrofitting of standard 4iiii powermeters is usually not approved by us. In individual cases it may be that the standard version fits, but in principle this is not the case, so we offer a separate solution.
