Canyon Spectral:ONfly

A lighter way to charge

Take everything you love about a great trail bike—that addictive blend of agility and control—and now imagine it doubling your pedalling power. That means more laps, more descents, and more fun. That’s the Spectral:ONfly—a revolutionary bike that rewrites the rule book on e-MTBs.

Lean and mean chassis

The ultralight carbon frame tips the scales at just 2.65 kg, with full bikes weighing as little as 18.1 kg, creating an outrageously nimble ride feel. More impressive yet, it takes a serious beating, withstanding our enduro-proof Category 4E strength rating. It all adds up to a fun, flickable e-MTB that’s built to shred.

Poised, playful handling

A shred-worthy bike needs shred-worthy geometry. The slack 64-degree headtube angle and long reach keep you planted in fast, loose conditions, while the steep 76.5-degree seat tube angle positions you perfectly for tough climbs. Rolling on a Mullet setup, the 29er front wheel smooths rough terrain, while the 27.5 rear wheel amplifies agility.

Triple-threat kinematics

150 mm of bump-eating rear travel is flawlessly controlled by our Triple Phase Suspension kinematics. This rig sniffs out traction and smooths out trail chatter while remaining poppy and efficient, thanks to its supportive mid-stroke and bottomless feel on the biggest hits. Paired with a 160 mm fork, it is a setup that will take you all over the mountain.

Next-gen stealth power

The Spectral:ONfly is powered by the remarkably light, astonishingly compact TQ-HPR50 motor. Unlike full-power e-MTBs that deliver a supercharged push through the pedals, the pint-sized TQ works with you on climbs, not for you.  Push hard, or back off and cruise – the more you put in, the more you’ll get out.

Tiny yet mighty

You need to look twice to even notice there’s a motor here. TQ’s revolutionary HPR50 motor is so small it’d fit in the palm of your hand, yet it delivers a smooth, silent boost that doubles your pedalling power. Weighing in at a feathery 1850g, and using smaller batteries, this setup is just over half the weight of high-torque drive systems.

It goes the distance

TQ’s lightweight 360 Wh battery is fully integrated inside the downtube for simple on-bike charging. This fixed mount also shaves grams and distributes weight perfectly. Concerned a smaller battery might shorten your ride? Think again. TQ’s motor is so efficient, you’ll pedal up to 70km per charge.

Lock in more laps

Boost your mileage by 44% with TQ’s optional, 160 Wh range extender battery. It attaches with a simple, secure Fidlock mount, letting you swap a bottle for the battery in a cinch. Need more fluids? Our huge Fidlock 850 ml bottle fits across the size range. Or keep things classic with a standard 600 ml bottle and cage.

Trail tough. Ride ready.

The Spectral:ONfly might be light, but it’s no pushover. Engineered to ride any trail in any conditions, day in and day out. Smart as well as tough, the chassis is packed with brilliant features to keep you and your bike shredding harder, for longer.
Canyon Spectral:ONfly

Built to last

Our double-sealed bearings at all suspension pivot points shrug off water and dirt ingress, keeping the chassis running smoothly for the long haul. When it's time to wrench, replaceable thread inserts prevent mechanical mishaps and stripped threads from destroying your frame.

Maximum manoeuvrability

Drop the saddle and send it with some of the longest dropper posts we’ve ever fitted to our bikes. The Canyon G5 droppers feature 200 mm of travel on sizes M and L, and a whopping 230 mm on size XL. An adjustment sleeve allows up to 25 mm of travel tuning, and the wider 34.9 mm diameter means this post is built to last.

Look, no straps

Strapping spare tubes, CO2 cartridges, and levers to your frame frees up pocket and pack space, but straps can slip and mar your paint. That’s why we fitted mounting points under the top tube—perfect for our storage bag and strap, or any other frame-mounted tools and accessories.

Complementary control

Your ride just got faster, smoother, and more controlled with the integration of Keep It Stable (K.I.S.) technology on all models. This mechanical steering stabiliser actively centers your bars to boost your confidence and control through the rough stuff.
