Artist edition Ultimate CF SLX
Limited to just 50, the Tino Pohlman Ultimate CF SLX 8.0 is the first in a series of bikes celebrating the artists who celebrate cycling.
Introducing Tino Pohlman
A long time collaborator of Canyon, Pohlman has captured striking moments from cycling’s most heart thumping races. It’s only fitting that the Canyon CF SLX 8.0 should be his next canvas. Since it’s launch, the Ultimate SLX has been the steed of choice for World Championships, Grand Tours and Classics.
Engineering and artistry as one
Pohlman’s signature red spot can be seen on the limited edition frame, the same red spot used to select images that best capture the drama of road cycling.
As one last step before the bikes are shipped, Pohlmann places this red adhesive dot on each of the 50 models by hand. The application of this central design element by the artist himself is the perfect final touch.
The allure of the Tour
Over the course of his career, Pohlman has spent countless summers at the summit of France’s most iconic climbs, waiting patiently for the peloton to give him a few fleeting moments.
The Ultimate LTD’s grey scale is an homage to arguably Pohlman’s most striking image of the Col du Galibier.

“My first trip to the Col du Galibier was certainly one of my biggest moments. When I think back to how I stood beneath that mountain – surrounded by the infinite beauty of the valley and the road running through it – it still gives me goosebumps to this day.”
