Envisioning cycling as more than just a recreational activity or a mode of transportation, LeBron sees it as a way to embrace the sense of freeddom and empowerment that comes with moving on two wheels. He often emphasizes the importance of bicycles in breaking down barriers, whether they are social or geographical, and promoting accessibility for all. Through the LeBron James Family Foundation (LJFF), LeBron James has extended his passion for bicycles to benefit students in his hometown of Akron. The LJFF's commitment to promoting mobility, accessibility, and physical fitness is evident through their I PROMISE Program, which has been empowering students since 2011. LJFF has been providing each I PROMISE student with a brand-new bike as part of their promise to live an active and healthy lifestyle, academic achievement and perseverance to finish school.  

Canyon will be donating Grand Canyon Young Heroes bikes to the I PROMISE students, which they will receive after completing the academic year as part of the foundation’s philosophy of earning—instead of being given—opportunities through showing dedication and commitment to the promise made.
