Using the Canyon Perfect Positioning System (PPS), you can determine your ideal frame size based on your body measurements. All you need to do is look for your perfect bike on the site and then follow the instructions to find your Canyon size. Learn more about PPS and Canyon's sizing here.
-
-
-
For an optimal size recommendation, we recommend consulting our Perfect Position System (PPS). Also, bicycle measurements may be found in the geometry and dimensions section of individual product pages.
Generally, Canyon road bicycles measure as follows:
3XS - 47cm
2XS - 48/49cm
XS - 50/52cm
S - 54cm
M - 56cm
L - 58cm
XL - 60/62cm
2XL - 63/64cm
-
-
-
Canyon measures its integrated cockpit stem length from the center of the steerer tube to the base of the handlebar. This stem measurement appears in our geometry charts online. For a more traditional stem-length measurement, add 10 millimeters (one centimeter) to the integrated cockpit stem length. For example, an integrated cockpit stem with a measurement of 90 millimeters will measure out as a 100 millimeter traditional stem.

-
-
First, verify that both frame size can achieve your required seat height. If so, then you can pick between the sizes according to your riding style and personal preference: The bike with the smaller frame will be lower and shorter, giving you a more compact position on the bike. The bike will be nimble, agile, and more lively underneath you. If you choose the larger frame, you will be more stretched over the bike because it will be longer and higher. This results in a more stable ride and more speed when riding in a straight line.

Canyon has three different types of carbon-fiber used with frames and forks: CF SL, CF SLX, and EVO.
CF SL represents a balance between strength and weight. This is a carbon-fiber frame, and fork, with a compliance-focused carbon-fiber layup. This produces a comfortable ride feel.
CF SLX represents the next step in carbon fiber, building on CF SL. This is a professional-level carbon-fiber frame, and fork, with high-modulus carbon fibers at the head tube and bottom bracket. This creates a stiff, highly responsive ride feel.
CF SLX frames are about 140 grams lighter than CF SL frames, while CF SLX forks are about 75 grams lighter than CF SL forks.
Beyond CF SL and CF SLX, EVO is Canyon’s pinnacle of carbon-fiber technology, utilizing ultra-high modulus and ultra-high tension carbon fibers. This produces a heightened stiffness-to-weight ratio. EVO frames are about 140 grams lighter than CF SLX frames, while EVO forks are about 40 grams lighter than CF SLX forks. This is the pinnacle of cycling engineering.

All Canyon bikes are shipped as illustrated and described – selecting alternative component configurations is not currently possible. This applies to stems, handlebars, cockpits, seatposts, cranksets and crank lengths, wheelsets, etc.
For Canyon engineered stems, handlebars, cockpits, and seatposts, please see the Gear section of our website for aftermarket purchase. Any non-Canyon parts may be purchased from a non-Canyon supplier.

Yes! The Grail’s all-terrain ability and speed make it a good choice for commuting, especially over longer distances or if you like to mix up the terrain on your commute to avoid busy roads.
Of course, if you have to leave your Grail locked outside when you’re in the office, we suggest getting a robust, sturdy lock for maximum security.

Speed, terrain and weight (rider + bike + luggage) all effect the total distance you can cover.
Generally speaking, you can expect a range of up to 100 km with a single battery, and 200 km on a dual battery bike.
See the Bosch Range Calculator for more information.

A bicycle displaying “coming soon” is supported with incoming inventory, which will be available for purchase online once it arrives. Shortly after a bicycle sells out, a “get notified” button will be added to the product page. This will allow you to sign up for an email notification, which will notify you once it, or a similar model, is made available for purchase. We do not process pre-orders, prior to stock posting online. While Canyon strives for complete accuracy, availability is subject to change.

On Aeroad CF SL models which do not feature full integration, swapping out the cockpit is possible to any other system, provided the stem is compatible with a 1 ¼” steerer. On Aeroad CF SLX and CFR models which feature full integration, this is a proprietary system that enables simple cockpit height and width adjustment. Stem length on each size is carefully selected using our extensive PPS data and, in our experience, is the correct length for most riders.

Triathlon extensions are not currently compatible on the new Aeroad.
