Canyon warranty

Your Canyon products are covered by a limited warranty. This page explains how warranty works, what’s covered, and how to make a claim.

What is the limited warranty and what does it cover?

The 6-year limited warranty covers Canyon engineered parts such as the frame and forks. Canyon-branded cockpits, seatposts are also covered. Batteries are also covered, but under different terms*.

The warranty starts the day the bike is delivered. It only covers manufacturing defects that already existed upon delivery, and it’s only available to the original owner of the bike and cannot be transferred. If replacement parts aren’t available in your original color, we’ll offer you an appropriate alternative.

Canyon will cover any associated rebuilding and shipping charges for successful warranty claims.

You can also take your bike directly to a Canyon authorized service partner for inspection and repair under warranty.

*The Canyon-branded batteries in some of our e-bikes are only covered for 2 years or 500 charging cycles, whichever comes first. The batteries are designed to hold 70% of their original performance within this period.

What isn’t covered by the warranty?

Here’s a few examples of what we don’t cover:

  • Third-party components
  • Accidental damage caused by a collision, drop or similar external force*
  • Wear and tear through use or lack of care
  • Damage caused by corrosion
  • Damage caused by using the bike outside of its intended category rating
  • Color changes due to environmental factors or cleaning products

For a full breakdown of what is and isn’t covered, see here. If you prefer, you can also take your bike directly to a Canyon authorized service partner for inspection under warranty. Alternatively, you can find replacement parts using our spare parts finder.

*You may be able to replace the damaged part using our Crash Replacement program.
