Our Spectral:ON CF sets the bar for high torque e-MTB trail bikes. From flowing singletrack to burly enduro trails and everything in between, the Spectral:ON’s lightweight carbon frame, 160mm fork and 155mm of rear travel deliver a trail taming ride feel combining capability and agility into a tough, category 4e rated package.
Powerful batteries for more miles and more stoke
More range, more elevation, more trails, more stoke, it’s all possible thanks to the industry-leading high-capacity batteries. Developed by Canyon, the 900Wh battery goes all in on range while the smaller 720Wh saves on weight. Medium, Large, and X-Large CF 8 and CFR models feature 900Wh batteries that boost your mileage 42%. Size Small models fit 720Wh batteries—providing you with a 15% boost in mileage over standard Shimano batteries. A powerful 4-amp charger tops up the battery in no time and it can be charged either on or off the bike.
The new EP8
A great e-MTB needs to pack serious power under the hood without compromising handling and that’s exactly what the EP8 does. With a whopping 85 Nm of torque and 400% pedal assist, the motor will you have flying up steep trails and its compact size and light 2.7 kg weight ensure that the bike still handles like a champ.
GPS Enabled
Whether you’re logging miles ridden and vert crushed or just keeping tabs on your baby, the GPS function of the Spectral:ON has got you covered. The new Canyon app logs the location of your bike and can even send an alarm notification if your bike gets tampered with. The GPS locator stays enabled if the bike runs out of battery.
Perfectly Balanced Mullet Setup
A key part of the Spectral:ON’s outstanding handling and agility is the mullet wheelsize setup. The 27.5 rear wheel increases manoeuvrability on tight trails, while the larger 29er front wheel boosts grip and rollover creating a composed, yet nimble ride. The trail focussed geometry combines roomy reach numbers with a balanced 65.5 headtube angle for a do-it-all setup
Trail tough hardware
Double-sealed bearings at the pivot points keep dirt and moisture out so you can keep riding through the crud. When it’s eventually time to service the bike, you can wrench with confidence thanks to the replaceable thread inserts which prevent stripped or crossed threads causing terminal damage to the frame.

There’s no other full-power e-MTB like this one. We didn’t simply give this bike a big battery in order to maximize range. Instead, we developed batteries that also make the bike handle better. Our unique, horizontal fuel-cell architecture helps lower the bike’s center of gravity and creates an absolute ground-hugging, corner-slaying marvel.
