It doesn’t matter if you’re in a 200-mile race or training on old dirt roads, if you want to ride fast and hold speed you need a bike that’s aerodynamic.

That’s why the Grail uses newly developed tube shapes, an updated seatpost and integrated storage and cables to create a complete aerodynamic system that saves serious watts in the wind tunnel. Now go ride someone off your wheel.

Cruise control

A winning gravel bike must be stable and efficient for long distances on mixed surfaces. To dial in the ideal geo, we used a test bike with adjustable angles and tube lengths for hundreds of hours of real-world riding.

The result is a 27mm longer wheelbase, a 1-degree slacker headtube and extended fork offset that make the Grail stable through gnarly gravel without sacrificing direct handling.

Loaded and locked

From years of wind tunnel testing, we know that frame storage can make a bike more aero. So, we developed the Aero LOAD system out of a mix of internal storage and custom frame bags for an a la carte setup where riders can choose how much kit to carry or how aero to make the frame.

The LOAD FidLock QuickLoader bag was made just for the Grail and can be instantly attached and removed using a special clip system. It blends seamlessly with the frame and even improves aerodynamics.

Internal storage

The unique design allows you to securely stash an inner tube, levers, and inflator in a special noise-dampening pouch, while your mini tool and pump lock into an integrated hatch within the downtube.

The New Grail comes with mounting points on top of the top tube and the bottom of the down tube to mount an extra bottle cage or our sleek LOAD top tube bag.

LOAD fork sleeve

Stay hydrated with an extra bottle and cage or load up for a bikepacking journey with a cargo mount! The custom fork sleeve supports 3 kg of weight.

Ergonomic evolution

After hours riding full tilt on chunky roads, it doesn’t matter how nice your bike is if the contact points aren’t on point. The Grail’s new Double Drop Bar takes everything we learned from the Generation 1 Double Decker Bar and incorporates it into a lightweight, aerodynamic package with the clever and functional Gear Groove mounting point for all CFR and CF SLX models.

Smooth is fast

Wide flared drops, a subtle backsweep on the tops and a light flare at the shifters, offers an ideal mix of comfortable and aggressive riding positions.

Heads up

The Gear Groove can also be used to seamlessly mount a bike computer or GPS.

On clearance

Based on feedback from our pro riders we landed on 40 mm tyres as the best balance of good grip and fast rolling resistance for a gravel race bike. The frame clears 42 mm tyres and leaves space for 52/36 front chainrings so racers can go all out.
