Canyon Refer-a-Friend program (5%)

These Terms and Conditions sets out the provisions under which the Referrer and the Friend/Referee will be able to gain benefits under the Canyon Refer-a-Friend program. The Refer-a-Friend program will apply for MTB, E-MTB, Urban & Recreational and E-Urban & Recreational bicycles (“Included Products”).

1.1 Referrer and Friend/Referee can be every existing or new CANYON customer with a Canyon account. Only private persons will be part of the Refer-a-Friend program.

1.2 The Referrer and the Friend/Referee must be located in the United States of America. It is not possible to invite friends in other countries.

1.3 The Referrer and the Friend/Referee cannot be the same person.

2.1 The Referrer can share the referral link with up to five Friends/Referees. The Referrer shall use the referral link only for personal and non-commercial purposes. It is prohibited to publish or distribute the referral link (e.g. via Social-Media-Posts).

2.2 If the Friend/Referee opens www.canyon.com using the referral link, the referral code is automatically added to his cart. This procedure must be carried out again if the Friend/Referee does not execute the order in the same session.

2.3 The Referrer must comply with any existing and future "SPAM"-laws. The distribution of bulk emails is strictly prohibited. Any distribution of your referral link that could constitute unsolicited commercial email or "spam" under any applicable law or regulation is expressly prohibited and will be grounds for immediate termination of your account and exclusion from the Refer-a-Friend program.

2.4 The Referrer will be able to invite a maximum of five Friends/Referees.

2.5 The referral link will be valid for three months from the day the Referrer received his invitation to the CANYON Refer-a-Friend program.

2.6 The referral link can only be used for one purchase, even if the link has been shared with more than one friend.

3.1.1 The benefits for the Referrer are subject to an order by the Friend/Referee in the www.canyon.com web shop which complies with the preconditions set out in Section 4.1.

3.2.1 The Referrer will receive a referral code with a 5% discount for one Canyon-branded Included Product for orders in the www.canyon.com webshop. There is no minimum order volume. Additional GEAR products will not be discounted.

3.2.2 The referral code is only valid for the respective Referrer and cannot be transferred to another person.

3.2.3 The referral code will be provided via email and in the Canyon account after the Friend made a respective purchase order on the www.canyon.com webshop. The transmission of the referral code can take up to 30 days from the order date.

3.2.4 The referral code has a validity of three months from the day of receipt. The referral code cannot be used retroactively.

3.2.5 The referral code cannot be redeemed for cash and resale of the ordered goods is prohibited.

4.1.1 The order of the Friend/Referee must contain at least one Included Product on the www.canyon.com webshop.

4.1.2 The delivery address must be in a country where www.canyon.com web shop is accessible.

4.1.3 The discount is granted if the Friend/Referee uses the referral code provided by the Referrer for his order via the www.canyon.com webshop as described in Sec. 2.2.

4.2.1 The Friend will get a 5% discount for an order of Included Product in the www.canyon.com webshop. There is no minimum order volume. Additional GEAR products will not be discounted.

4.2.2 The discount can only be granted within the validity period of the referral code.

4.2.3 The discount is only valid for the respective Friend/Referee and cannot be transferred to another person.

4.2.4 The discount cannot be granted retroactively.

4.2.5 The discount cannot be redeemed for cash and resale of the ordered goods is prohibited.

5.1 CANYON is entitled to exclude customers from the Refer-a-Friend program in case of any violation of these Terms and Conditions.

5.2 CANYON is entitled to change the Terms and Conditions or to terminate the Refer-a-Friend program in its sole discretion. The termination of the Refer-a-Friend program will not affect any existing voucher.

5.3 The CANYON General Terms and Conditions will apply to any order made under this Refer-a-Friend program.
