Strive CFR

The Strive rocks the kind of slack head angle (63 degrees!) normally reserved for DH bikes. Going “full enduro”, however, was a no brainer since the Shapeshifter lets you steepen the Strive’s head angle a full degree and a half with the simple flip of a switch. The new Strive is incredibly stable at pace and boosts your confidence when it counts.

The Strive’s seriously steep, 78- degree seat tube angle (in Pedal Mode) moves your center of mass forward and gives you a better climbing position, and more efficient pedaling performance on uphills and mellower trails alike.

Paired with the slacker head tube, the Strive’s long reach lets you distribute your weight evenly on the bike and go faster with greater control. The same generous cockpit length also gives you more options to size up or down and dial in the perfect ride.

We kept the Strive’s rear end relatively short (opting for 435mm chainstays), which makes it easy to thread the needle at race pace, from one tight corner to the next.

Using an easy-to-source universal derailleur hanger makes it simple to find a replacement and get rolling again should you crash and mangle that little aluminum tab. The universal hanger also lets your rear derailleur pivot backwards, offering additional protection in the event of an impact.

We developed special frame protectors with our EWS mechanics to shield your bike from the worst nature has to throw at it. They also happen to dampen the sounds of chain slap, rock impacts, and trail chatter.

Foam cable housing liners inside the frame are lighter than full carbon channels yet still quiet any cable chatter inside the chassis. Removable cable ports offer easy access for quick swaps.

Tested and approved for our Enduro-focused Category 4, the Strive CFR is ready for punishing days in the mountains and nearly any natural feature out on the hill.
