Spectral 5

Advanced aluminium frame

The Spectral AL's aluminium frame was developed from the ground up to extract the full potential from its metal construction. Optimized, straighter tube cross-sections create outstanding stiffness and strength without the need for thicker sidewalls, delivering nimble handling and enduro-proof Category 4 strength. Housing 150mm of rear wheel travel and built around a 150mm fork for true all-rounder ability.
Spectral 5

All-mountain angles

The Spectral AL skips the flip-chip adjustment and matches the 64-degree headtube of the CF model in LO mode for composed handling when charging through high-speed sections. A steep 76.5-degree seat tube angle and roomy reach create the ideal position for poised pedalling performance to get you back to the top for another lap.

Dependable pivot points

Our trail-tough frame hardware is built to take a beating. High-quality sealed bearings with a proprietary grease fill fend off washout and dirt ingress in the harshest conditions. When time in the workshop is eventually due, steel helicoil inserts protect against mechanical mishaps like stripped threads, causing terminal frame damage.

Wheels sized to shred

We've equipped the Spectral AL with wheelsize setups to suit riders of all heights. Frame sizes XS-S come with agile 27.5 wheels, maximizing playfulness and control for smaller riders. Frames sized M-XL roll on 29er wheels for more traction, stability, and efficiency.

Strap-free storage

Mounting points under the top tube mean there is a place to store essential spares without needing to wrap straps around the frame, saving your paintwork from potential scuffs.
Spectral 5

Clever cable routing

The bike's cables and lines run cleanly through a foam hose inside the front triangle. This eliminates cable rattle in rough terrain and protects your cables from unwanted snags. The cables are then externally routed on the rear triangle for easier maintenance.

Bike classification

This category also covers the requirements of categories 1-3. In addition it includes use on very harsh, obstacle-scattered terrain with steep gradients and consequently higher speeds. Regular, moderate jumps pose no problem for experienced riders when using these bikes. Extended and regular use in bike parks and tackling “North Shore” sections should be avoided. Due to increased stresses, these bikes should be checked for damage after every ride. Full suspension bikes with mid-level travel are typical in this category.
