How do you make the fastest bike even faster? Through an intensive, painstaking process of CFD and wind tunnel development in collaboration with the aero experts at Swiss Side, we extracted every last watt out of the Speedmax platform.

Elegant integration

Innovative, integrated storage

The Speedmax CFR is packed full of aerodynamic, integrated, rapid-access storage that saves you seconds when seconds matter most.

And our speedy refill valve allows you to top up your in-frame Hydrapak bladder on the go.

Aerodynamic bottom bracket toolbox

The bottom bracket box gives you storage for inner tubes or additional bike maintenance kit. Part of the frame’s carbon structure, it’s made from ultra-rare Toray MX40 carbon fibre and contributes to improving the frame’s aerodynamics stiffness.

Top tube bento box

By fully integrating the bento box into the frame, we reduced weight while also improving stiffness and aerodynamics. A newly designed high-grade lid lets you get inside the box in an instant.

750 ml Hydrapak bladder

Developed with hydration experts Hydrapak, this bladder is invisibly integrated into the down tube of the Speedmax, providing plenty of hydration with no need to change your position.

Adjust your fit to the millimetre

In the bike split, triathletes often have to stay in the same position for hours at a time – so being comfortable has a direct and considerable influence on performance.

With the advanced modular design and out of the box adjustability of the Speedmax CFR cockpit, you can dial in your fit down to the last millimetre.

Height adjustability: aggressive to relaxed

Tailor your fit to your course profile or training goals thanks to 110 mm of easy cockpit height adjustability. Angled spacers delivered with the bike give you even more fit flexibility.

The Speedmax CFR’s modular design gives you ultimate control to tweak every tiny aspect of your fit. Using the fitting kit, pick between a wide range of positions from relaxed to aggressive and find your perfect position.

The most aero Speedmax ever

With a world-record long-distance time to its name, the Speedmax CFR only has itself to beat. And together with our aero partners Swiss Side and CFD aerodynamic development, the latest Speedmax is a huge 9 watts faster at 45 kph than its predecessor.

Deep-profile aero fork

Enhancements to the front wheel and fork minimise the disturbances caused by cross winds, keeping you confidently on the bars when the Kona winds blow.

A drag-busting front end

An overhauled front end drastically reduces frontal drag caused by stack height, the proximity of the rider’s arms to the base bar and the previously external nutrition system.

More aerodynamic seatstays

The Speedmax features ultra-thin 8 mm seatstays sculpted in the wind tunnel to reduce drag and rear wheel turbulence to an absolute minimum.
